Sunday Sampler May 17

For all our fellow NASCAR fans, “Let’s go racing boys!”

This week’s Sunday Sampler began as an image of a “swoosh” design wallpaper. I created several versions that will be great as backgrounds, either alone or merged with other textures! There’s even one that is red-white-and-blue to use in upcoming Memorial Day and July 4th images.

If you’re on Facebook, please join our texture group, “Textures – Turn Ho-Hum into A Work of Art” and share your creations! We’re a friendly group and if you would like feedback, just ask!

WEBINAR REPLAY!

If you missed the webinar last Tuesday, the recording is now on my YouTube Channel HERE.

You can find the notes for the webinar – which include notes, images and textures used – in my Peacock Studio web store for just $5 – CLICK HERE! With this package you can follow along with the webinar replay and create the projects yourself. A great learning tool!

NEW TEXTURE SETS
COMING THIS WEEK!

I’ve been working on some cool new sets for you! The first two will be brushes for grunge overlays and borders. They will come with the ABR brush set as well as JPG and PNG images so you can use in a variety of ways.

Here’s a preview of the grunge overlay set:

I sometimes like to use brushes instead of the actual textures so I can easily change the color and strength of the texture effect. You can add these right over your image or use them to modify other textures, expanding your texture library!

I’m also finishing up a new set of Bird Brushes. Look for these 3 new sets this week!

Have a relaxing Sunday and I’ll “talk” to you on Tuesday!
