Oct. 30 – Sunday Sampler +

Hard to believe another month is almost over! Time just flies by these days!

This week’s Sunday Sampler consists of some Vintage Papers – one of which I modified in Photoshop. Remember, you can always change colors by utilizing a hue/saturation adjustment (or even clicking on the “colorize” box and changing the overall color).

Just in time for Halloween, I came across this cool tutorial to give your type a “Freddy Kruger” feel! It uses lots of PS filters and layer styles to get the effect. From the TutsPlus website.

And here is a free sampling of some “Subtle Grunge” textures from Best PSD Freebies.

My next Topaz webinar will be November 15th. Sign up on their website (www.TopazLabs.com) will begin in a few days! Join me as I show you how to combine presets and textures – from subtle to dramatic – then add other Topaz products to create your own “work of art”.

Join us for a day in Bethlehem, PA, to photograph the beautiful holiday decorations (with a private tour of some of the buildings), visit the National Museum of Industrial History (newly opened this past July), and photograph the remains of the Bethlehem Steel “stacks”. It will be a day filled with all kinds of photography, and if we’re lucky, a touch of snow!

Early bird sign-up price (by 11/15) $65; after 11/15 $75. Max 15 photographers. Sign up on my website: http://www.meredithimages.com/product-category/workshops/
